A QProximityFilter can be used to select entities to render when they are placed within a given distance threshold of another entity.

class PySide2.Qt3DRender.Qt3DRender.QProximityFilter([parent=None])¶
Parameters:

parent – PySide2.Qt3DCore.Qt3DCore.QNode

PySide2.Qt3DRender.Qt3DRender.QProximityFilter.distanceThreshold()¶
Return type:

float

Holds the distance to the target entity above which entities are filtered out.
